PedTerra was founded to bring healthy footwear to families across the United States, but most importantly the children in those families. This line of thinking has convinced us that we are responsible for making choices that will lead to a better, healthier world beyond just the products we sell.

We make sure that the companies we carry feel this same commitment, and that they demonstrate true efforts to reduce their impact on the planet. These kind of requirements include sustainable material sourcing, waste reduction, clean water preservation, and workplace regulations. We take reports of regulation shortcuts, workplace abuse, and pollution very seriously. This is all to provide our customers with peace of mind while they shop. You can know with certainty that any product you purchase from us was manufactured with fair trade labor and materials that are healing the planet, or at least doing no further harm.

Additionally, many of our brands provide donations, services, or outreach programs to those in need. We promote these programs on our brand pages and in product descriptions so you know where your money is going! Every purchase through our store shows us interest in that brand. In turn, we provide them with more resources to carry out their ethical goals as we increase our supply from them.

At our fulfillment locations, we practice stern recycling practices to reduce waste. We refrain from using excess materials both in shipping and in storage. Our poly-mailers are all made from recycled or compostable materials. Our packing materials are paper or cardboard instead of plastics or foams. Even our furnishings are refurbished or donated. All the choices we make in our business design is channeled directly into the two goals of growth and sustainability. That way we can provide as many healthy shoes to as many families as possible and create the cleanest, brightest world we can while doing it.
