The Mukishoes Onyx Low tennis shoes model is a lovely, light barefoot shoe that features a 100% natural rubber sole, foot-friendly shape, and light organic cotton upper that does not restrict healthy foot movement. It’s highly flexible, available in sizes 36-48, and the dark hue can match virtually any outfit. These shoes are easy to clean and can be waterproofed for increased protection from the elements. Laces give these a good fit for a variety of widths and foot shapes. The model is 100% vegan.

    Mukishoe's Notes on Sizing: The insole length is the size of the insole, not the final size of the shoe. We recommend adding 0.5 - 1.5 cm to the total length of your foot to get your ideal shoe size. Mukishoes run true to size for most people.

    Shipping:

    We offer free shipping to all United States addresses, including territories and military addresses. International orders have a shipping fee calculated by Shopify. International shipping fees are exclusively to cover the shipping costs from the requested courier; we do not charge any handling fees on any orders.

    Free Shipping on domestic shipments takes 3-10 buisness days to arrive from your order date. This is dependent on the day you order, where you are located in the United States, and current events such as holidays. Please note that shipping times will increase from Black Friday through New Year's Day.

    Shipping on international orders typically takes 9-27 days. DHL offers faster shipping services at 4-7 days, but may charge increased customs. International Customers are responsible for all customs due on shipments that arrive in their country. Packages that are abandoned or destroyed as a result of failure to pay customs are the finacial responsiblity of the recipient.

    Mukishoes source their organic cotton from Organic Cotton Colors, a collaborative project spanning Spain, Portugal, and Brazil. Operating under the principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture, this project cultivates cotton in Brazil, fostering a symbiotic relationship with the land and its stewards. The farmers, who are also landowners, are empowered to enact positive change while receiving equitable compensation. Notably, their naturally colored cotton thrives without the need for artificial irrigation, reflecting their commitment to sustainable practices. This emphasis on respecting natural cycles inevitably limits their production capacity. In situations where our supply from Organic Cotton Colors falls short, we turn back to Portuguese weavers who source cotton from diverse producers who uphold similar standards, although this might not always be possible.

    Mukishoes utilize Latex, also known as Natural Rubber, sourced from Guatemala, for their soles. Latex is derived from rubber trees, predominantly the Hevea Brasiliense species. Indigenous to tropical zones, these trees are cultivated in meticulously managed rubber plantations, embodying our pledge to both environmental preservation and uncompromising quality. Inherently flexible, durable, and biodegradable, their certified natural rubber not only guarantees a comfortable and fashionable stride but also underscores our unwavering commitment to fostering a sustainable and ecologically conscious footwear selection.
